Fire Detection & Alarm

Fire detection saves lives, saves property and saves valuable data. Variety of techniques are been used to detect fire in any forms like smoke, heat, IR , UC etc. Today manufactures have developed fire detection systems to sense every type of fire at any point, all with intention to attack and kill fire at the very being of it. This process not only saves lives, but saves your investments too.

We design, supply, install and maintain various kind of fire detection and alarming systems based on your needs.

Smoke Detector

Smoke detectors, the key component of any fire detection and alarm system offers you a very low cost and reliable sensing of fire. Since smoke detectors detects smoke, they are important sensor to detect fire right at the start of fire before it gets bigger and damages life and property. With wide variety of sensors to choose from various manufactures, we provide you the exact solutions. With advancement in technology, manufactures have designed smoke detectors which can detect actual fire and eliminates non fire scenarios and prevent unnecessary false alarms.

Heat Detector

Smoke detectors don't work in some areas like kitchen, parking or any area where smoke is a part of the environment. But fire detection is similarly important in these areas. So another way to detect fire is the heat generated, which exactly what the heat detectors are capable of. Installed at proper locations, they are equally effective as smoke detectors.

Multisensor Detector

Multisensor detectors combines the features of smoke detector and heat detector in a single detector. Some scenarios require detection of both the fire component i.e. smoke and fire, hence instead of going for two different types of detectors, customer can purchase single detector, saving cost and space.

Detectors with alarming devices

When you want smoke detection, heat detection and audio visual notification in a single module, combo detectors are the best choice. The combine the features of smoke detector, heat detector, hooter and notification strobe light in a single package. Cost is very less if one detector is purchased compared to purchasing all the 4 modules separately.

Intrinsically Safe Detectors

Intrinsically safe smoke detectors are used in areas where there are flammable or explosive gases present the in the surroundings. These areas could be in a paint factories, chemical plants, ammunition factories where even a smallest of spark can ignite the surroundings. Intrinsically safe detectors are designed to minimise this risk so that fire protection can be given to these areas too.

Beam Smoke Detector

Smoke detectors works in a closed area and as per NPFA standards, smoke detectors cannot be installed above 24 feet or 7.5 meters, as they are less effective in sensing smoke. Basically smoke detection time taken is more than what is mentioned in standards. Beam detectors are the ultimate solution to smoke detections in bigger areas like warehouses , factory sheds. Generally one smoke detector covers around 65 sq.mt area while a single beam detector can cover a area of 2000 sq.mt.

Flame Detector

Sometime some type of fire do not generate smoke or the installation areas are such that any type of smoke detectors or heat detectors are ineffective. To solve this problem IR & UV flame detectors are used, which basically detects the Infrared or / and ultra violet light emitted from a flame.

Duct Smoke Detector

Smoke detection in open space is achieved by spot smoke detectors, but if you need to expedite the detection time, by intelligent use of the office air conditioning system, we can achieve and cut the detection time using duct smoke detectors. Dust smoke detectors are specially designed smoke detectors, detector smoke particles in the fast moving air in the return air duct of a air conditioning system. Since in a air conditioned environment, the movement of air as per the HVAC system design, probability of detecting smoke in the return air duct is more than in open space.

Smoke Detection Camera

Traditional smoke detectors has to be installed everywhere, increasing the detector count, cabling, labour and service part. And sometime detectors cannot be installed at some locations due many reasons example a factory space, where spot detector installation is not possible due to NFPA norms, beam smoke detector installation is not possible due to crane movements etc etc. Bosch has come up a exclusive and patented technology which integrates a CCTV camera with a smoke detection algorithm. And additionally these cameras can even be integrated with your standard CCTV system, giving customer two benefits, smoke detection and surveillance.

Linear Heat Detection Cable

Linear heat sensing cable or LHS cable as they are usually called are special kind of heat detector cable. These cables has heat sensitive 2 numbers of conductors running parallel to each other. They melt and fuse at specific temperature. Detecting this short in the cable indicates that temperature has risen and there is a probability of a fire. LHS cables with different temperature ratings are available. Most common use of LHS cables are in HT cable trays, transformer protection and conveyor belts carrying flammable material like coal.

Manual Call Point

Visuals of smoke or flames by a person is the fastest detection of fire. Manual call points or MCP’s as they are called can be triggered manually by a person by pulling the handle or breaking glass whenever a person sees fire. They can trigger the fire alarm and then evacuate to safe areas, giving that additional minute valuable time to detect fire earlier than any automatic sensor and notify others to reach safety.

Audio Visual Alarm Devices

After detection, notification of a fire is the most important aspect in any fire alarm system. Notifications should be both , audio ( buzzers / hooters ) & visual ( strobe lights ). Fire alarm manufacturers brings you to choose from wide variety of these devices, either single notification or combination ones ( hooter + strobe ). These devices can act to alarm people, but also can serve as a very effective evacuation mechanism like in directional sounders.

Fire Alarm Panel

Today’s fire alarm systems are mostly addressable systems, i.e. customer get to know the exact location of fire. Addressable systems give you flexibility to install larger fire alarm systems with minimum cabling and labour, and they are easy to install and maintain too. We offer a wide range of fire alarm panels from various manufacturers, complying to international standards like UL, FM, EN, LPCB etc. We offer 1 to 4 loop panels to cater smaller installation to expandable loops fire alarm panels for larger requirements.
